Dear Diboll ISD Families, Staff, and Community,

It is with great pride and deep gratitude that I step into the role of Superintendent of Diboll Independent School District. I am honored to serve a community with such a strong legacy and an even stronger future ahead.

Together with the Board of Trustees, we have a bold and inspiring vision: for Diboll ISD to become the district of choice—not only for our own families, but for the surrounding communities as well. Our long-term goal is to establish Diboll as one of the top-performing school districts in the state of Texas, and I am confident we have the heart, the talent, and the determination to make that vision a reality.

To get there, we will focus on a few key priorities:

• Academic growth and opportunity will be at the center of all we do. This means ensuring access to high-quality instruction, career exploration pathways, and a robust offering of extra- and co-curricular and athletic programs for all students. Instructional excellence will guide our classrooms, grounded in the most effective, research-based strategies and practices.
   

• Education is our business, but safety is our priority. Safe and welcoming schools will be the standard. While we will meet all state safety regulations, we aim to go beyond compliance—fostering campuses where every student and staff member feels secure, respected, and proud to belong.
   

• Strong district leadership will be cultivated at every level. We will invest in the professional growth of our staff, ensuring that those who want to lead, grow, and improve have the tools and support to do so.
   

• Fiscal responsibility is a personal core value of mine. We will be wise stewards of taxpayer dollars, navigating financial challenges with transparency and purpose while continuing to provide the opportunities and facilities our students deserve.
   

• Community engagement and storytelling will help us shape our identity. We must be proactive in telling our story—the story of a district on the rise, filled with incredible students, talented staff, and a supportive community. When people hear about Diboll ISD, they should hear a message of excellence, pride, and opportunity.

• Exceptional customer service will be a cornerstone of our district culture. We are committed to treating every family, staff member, and community partner with respect, responsiveness, and care. Whether someone walks into our front office, makes a phone call, or sends an email, they should feel heard, valued, and supported.
   

And none of this can happen without you. The support of our families—whether through involvement in schools, advocacy for our programs, or simply spreading the good news of our district—is absolutely essential. This journey requires all of us: educators, staff, parents, students, and community members.

No role is too small. No voice is unimportant. Everyone has a place in this shared vision, and together, as one team, we will take Diboll ISD to new heights.
