Texas Teacher Retirement System

Teacher Retirement System administers a defined benefit retirement plan that is a qualified pension trust under Section 401(a) of the Internal Revenue Code. The pension trust fund provides service and disability retirement, as well as death and survivor benefits, to eligible Texas public education employees and their beneficiaries.

Retirement benefits are financed by member and state contributions, employer contributions in some circumstances, and through investment earnings of the pension trust fund. Diboll ISD participates in the Texas Teacher Retirement System as authorized by law.

Deferred Compensation Plans

Diboll ISD 403(b) Plan offers a retirement program for the benefit of our employees. 

It is the intent of Diboll ISD to protect your information and administer the 403(b) Plan in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. To assist us in this, we will be utilizing the National Benfefit Services system to facilitate administration of the Diboll ISD 403(b) Plan and our compliance with the 403(b) regulations by tracking information received via encrypted electronic data files over secure internet channels.

You can request approvals for disbursements such as loans, hardships, QDROs, benefit buybacks and more, all online at your convenience.
